TOKYO - THEY ARE READY TO PUT UP A FIGHT!

After browsing through the official websites for each of Candidate city, I caved in, Tokyo's website is subperb!

Certainly is the most attractive website of the four I checked and it sure makes you want to click on everything you see in it. They used a creative, friendly cartoonish presentation that doesn't relate to the first thing that comes to my mind when thinking of Japan; traditional samurais images and fancy japanese handwritting, kanji. The map of the city with the animated cartoon caracters make the city look so easy to get around and not the huge city that it really is, with overwhelming skyscrappers and blinking signs.

In my list of favorites, Rio de Janeiro comes second, and do not get the impression that's because I come from Brazil - I would have chosen it as my number one if I was taking that in consideration. Surely the Brazilian website goes write to the point. The imagery is also amazing but that is not hard to achieve considering that Rio's best asset is its geographic beauty.

In the third position comes Madrid. I love the design and colors. There reason why I didn't "grade" this site better because it didn't find the information I was looking for as easily as the other websites.

And unfortunately, Chicago comes last. I was desappointed with the lack of animation and there's nothing that makes you go WOW! I really wish Chicago wins the bid and we can have the Olympic games right here but if the decision will be based on the Candidate city's website, Chicago is not winning.
