REASONS CHICAGO SHOULD HOST THE 2016 OLYMPICS

Certainly Chicago is going to host the 2016 Olympics. There’s no doubt about it. Chicago has so much to offer and certainly can exceed any expectations.

Reasons Chicago should host the 2016 Olympics:

WATERFRONT AREA - The Olympic Park area would be located on the lake front of Lake Michigan, with 29 miles of shoreline.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! - Chicago's location, central to the United States, is one of the great transportation hubs of the world. O'Hare Airport and Midway International Airport make air transportation into the city accessible. Mitchell Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is also a just over an hour away from Chicago. The city has extensive rail transit for transportation in and around the city.

SIGHTSEEING, GREAT HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS - The city, which rebuilt after the 1871 fire, has great architecture, fine hotels and restaurants and many cultural attractions. Participants who stay in the city may find that they are in walking distance to the Olympics and many other attractions.

CLEAN AIR – Chicago does not even make the top 20 on the US most polluted cities for smog list. Ask any athlete where they would prefer to compete and I guarantee they will choose the city where they can breathe.\
